Our wonderful local artists

Our wonderful local artists

We're incredibly lucky to have some very talented local artists and photographers here in the Gallery. Between them they cover a wide range of styles and subjects but they all have one thing in common - they're passionate about what they do.

Whether it's beautiful watercolours of local scenes or exquisitely detailed oil paintings of wildlife, you'll find something to suit both both your sense of style and your budget.

As you'd expect from their work, our local artists are all highly individual and engaging characters - and for some they just can't help but let that sense of humour and quirkiness spill over into their paintings!

We're a local community that loves its animals and we have a treasure trove of beautiful paintings and prints ranging from incredibly detailed to delightfully contemporary - and all with colour and impact.

Our local photographers are constantly looking for new ways of showcasing our beautiful Shropshire countryside and constantly surprise us with their innovative takes on views that we all know and love.

Even Gallery Manager Chris has joined in and is now one of our best selling local photographers courtesy of his amazing night-time image of one of our outstanding local landmarks, Lilleshall Monument.

So why not pop into the Gallery and see what we've got on display - we absolutely love being able to show what a talented group of local artists and photographers we have and, you never know, you might just bump into one of them!

Best wishes

Julie and Chris
